BNL FvU Dutch double houses 1930 The history
In the 1930ies many Dutch neighborhoods were built in a style dominated by brick and full of detail. These houses are still very popular and they are being copied a lot since the 1990ies. But the models in this set are made after the original 1930ies housing.
A double house is the poor man's villa: you almost have a house of your own, but it still is affordable for the middle class.
The Models
Wouter Soethout, better known as w_swietwoot, made the four models that are contained in this set. He did not have time to lot them and therefore FrankU did that for him. And as they are both BNL Team members, this is a BNL cooperation project.
Wouter made two versions of the models: a Dark Nite Version and a Maxis Night Version. The naming of the files says it all. Delete the one you do not need. For the Dark Nite version you need the Dark Nite mod.
The Lots
The set contains 20 lots.
All lots are R$$.
6 lots are Stage 2, 2 wide and 3 deep.
4 lots contain two house models, they are Stage 2, 3 wide and 3 deep. 6 lots are Stage 3, 2 wide and 2 deep.
4 lots contain two house models, they are Stage 3, 3 wide and 2 deep.
In these lots I use a lot of prop families, so there is a bit of variation. Even the building models vary in random ways.
Installation
Copy/Extract the BNL parent folder into SimCity4Plugins folder.
Dependencies
The model files are part of the set.
Otherwise you need the following files. Quite common ones, I suppose.
To ensure the proper functionality, make sure the files mentioned below are installed in the plugins folder.
