SC4D LEX Legacy - BSC VDK Train Mods Vol11 and Vol19 North American Passenger Cars The original/initial SC4D LEX upload contained 3 separate uploads with 3 *.exe installers, but during the file restoration efforts to SC4Evermore, these packages have been combined.
The SC4D LEX Legacy - BSC VDK Train Mods North American Passenger Cars by vester contains the following 3 formerly available Passenger Rail automata mods:
- VDK Train Mods Vol11 - North American Passenger Cars
This package includes automata mods for the passenger rail network.
It contains 9 different car styles, each with 40 different railroad livery styles from North America. - VDK Train Mods Vol19 A - North American Modern Passenger Cars
- VDK Train Mods Vol19 B - North American Modern Passenger Cars
This package includes automata mods for the passenger rail network and is one of two volumes (Volume A+B).
These two contains 9 different car styles, each with 56 different railroad livery styles from North America.
Some of them existed in reality, some did not, but they are included here for completeness, and to allow you, the user, the most flexibility in your game.
Installation
Extract the z___BSC MODs parent folder into your Plugins".
It's gonna install the following paths with two additional subfolders at the end:
- Z___BSC MODs/VDK Automata/VDK Train Mods
- From the "Passenger Cars Replacement" folder, pick only one DAT. - This is the main rail car mod file. This download will not work with any other train mods installed! Make sure that this mod is loaded after the Network Addon Mod (the provided z___BSC MODs folder actually ensure this), otherwise the new UDI icons won't show up.
- From the "Passenger Cars Addon" folder, you can choose to install any numbers of mods of the additional type. See the explanation below how to properly install the additional rail cars.
Due to first the Project ZIP efforts, then the SC4D LEX Restoration efforts in order to make the folder structure more unified the original install location (VDK Automatas BSC) and the file names have been changed.
To avoid conflicts, please, it is highly recommended to use any of the third party cleanitol tools and remove any previous versions from your plugins. In the ~Documents folder in the main ZIP you can find a Cleanitol_BSC VDK Train Mods[...].txt file and by using either the newer nos.17's SC4 Cleanitol or the older BSC Cleanitol tool you can search and remove old and outdated versions of these files.
The letters on the pictures above, helps you to pick the file you want to install.
Remember you can only have one PR-train mod installed at a time.
